Wax Worm
Waxworms are an ideal food for many reptiles and amphibians. Although they are high in protein and calcium, they are also relatively fattening and should thus be fed sparingly as treats instead of dietary staples. They can prove beneficial when used as a supplement in the diet of most geckos (e.g., leopard geckos), though feeding too often can cause excessive weight gain.
